Banksy

Originally from Bristol, Banksy has taken his provocative and inspiring brand of vandalism to sites worldwide, from the Sydney Opera House to Cuba. A media favourite for stunts like hanging his own work in the Tate gallery, but a popular star long before any of that. Banksy brought UK graphic art to an international audience through his street works, painted animals, screenprints, books, doctored CDs and was finally honoured in 2009 with a show at the Bristol Museum.
